About The Position
LifeLong Medical Care has an exciting opportunity for a Triage Assistant to join our multi-disciplinary team providing primary care services at our TRUST Health Center in Oakland. The Triage Assistant is part of a patient-centered, multi-disciplinary care team composed of clinical providers, medical assistants, and auxiliary staff providing urgent and primary care health services in a community health center setting. Under the supervision of the Center Supervisor the Triage Assistant provides administrative support to the Triage team, is the key link between patients, providers and pharmacies, and assists Triage Team in achieving key objectives. This is a full time, benefit eligible position. This position is represented by SEIU-UHW. Salaries and benefits are set by a collective bargaining agreement (CBA), and an employee in this position must remain a member in good standing of SEIU-UHW, as defined in the CBA. LifeLong Medical Care is a multi-site, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with a rich history of providing innovative healthcare and social services to a wonderfully diverse patient community.
