As part of our quality management team, you’ll help assist the Clinical Quality Analyst with multiple aspects of quality of care (QOC) investigation which includes management of the regulatory Incident/Accident/Death (IAD) portal, opening and managing cases in the internal QOC data base, triaging cases and initiating medical record retrieval based upon clinical judgement. All the while, you’ll be building your career with a leader and reaching for the highest levels of performance as you do your life's best work. This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work an 8-hour shift schedule during our normal business hours of (8:00am - 5:00pm MST). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 1 East Washington Street, Phoenix, AZ 85004. The position requires a minimum onsite presence of once every six weeks for meetings and office related work. Onsite requirements are subject to change based on business needs. Primary Responsibilities: Manage and triage QOC referrals from internal and external sources Create and maintain confidential electronic investigation files for QOC cases Create and manage entries into the regulatory IAD portal Initiate medical record requests for QOC investigations based upon clinical nursing judgement Collaborate internally with Clinical Quality Analysts and staff in other UHCCP departments Manage multiple tasks and projects and changing priorities; prioritize work products effectively This is a challenging role with serious impact. Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • Active, unrestricted LPN license
  • 1+ years working in the health care industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word (ability to open, edit, save and send documents), Microsoft Excel (ability to work with multiple data bases to retrieve and enter information)
  • Experience with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
  • The position requires a minimum onsite presence of once every six weeks for meetings and office related work. Onsite requirements are subject to change based on business needs
  • This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work an 8-hour shift schedule during our normal business hours of (8:00am - 5:00pm MST)

  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience working as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Experience working in a deadline driven environment prioritizing responsibilities
