There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
Barron's, one of the leading financial and investing publications in the U.S., is seeking a reporter who can insightfully cover breaking business news and knows the U.S. market well. You will be part of the Barron's trending news team, which eschews commodity stories in favor of delivering analysis—or an interesting angle—about the news in the timeframe readers are searching to understand news events. The reporter may have the opportunity to write longer reported-out features and analytical pieces so some experience of this would be an advantage. In this role, you will track breaking news of publicly traded companies, financial markets, and other subjects of interest to Barron's readers. You will generate analysis and angles on the day's biggest stories and write quickly and cleanly under tight deadlines. The position requires a passion for markets and finance, and an eagerness to provide insights into the biggest stories of each day using various formats such as FAQs, charts, and other news-you-can-use story forms. The ideal candidate will be relentlessly committed to factual accuracy and possess familiarity with corporate balance sheets, financial valuations, and investing principles. This role is crucial for maintaining Barron's reputation as a catalyst for economic change and providing its audience with the need-to-know information for wealth accumulation and market understanding.
