About The Position

This position involves performing skilled work in trimming, pruning, and felling trees, as well as removing diseased, broken, or hazardous limbs from trees, or removing entire trees when required. The role necessitates operating heavy trucks such as bucket trucks and claw loaders for the purpose of trimming or removing brush or wood. Work is conducted outdoors, exposing the employee to various weather conditions, insects, and extreme heights. The work is performed under the supervision of a crew leader and is reviewed both while in progress and upon completion to ensure desired results are obtained. The operation of a bucket truck may be required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate
• One (1) year experience in tree trimming
• Knowledge of tree maintenance procedures
• Knowledge of use of climbing saddle
• Knowledge of use of pruning saw
• Knowledge of use of chain saw
• Knowledge of use of ropes and knots
• Knowledge of use of chipper
• Knowledge of use of A-frame
• Class B CDL
