We're seeking an experienced Tree Climber to join our founding team in this rapidly growing territory filled with mature trees and discerning homeowners. As a Tree Climber with Joshua Tree Experts, you'll be a key member of our 2-4 person crews, working in some of the area's most beautiful neighborhoods where homeowners invest in professional tree care. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years professional tree climbing experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
- Commitment to safety and following established protocols
- Physical ability to perform demanding climbing work
- Team-oriented mindset with willingness to train others
Responsibilities
- Perform expert tree climbing for removals, pruning, and preservation work
- Communicate effectively with crew leader and team members
- Maintain professional image and represent JTE's premium brand standards
- Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with homeowners
- Delegate work to ground crew and ensure safe operations
- Maintain assigned equipment and climbing gear to company standards
- Follow comprehensive safety protocols and ANSI standards
- Identify and communicate upselling opportunities to crew leader
- Work minimum 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities
- Understand and operate aerial lift equipment as needed
