The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a day shift Treatment Technician career opportunity within the Addictive & Mental Disorders/Montana Chemical Dependency Center. The Montana Chemical Dependency Center is the only in-patient chemical dependency treatment center administered by the state. We service individuals 18 and older who have been diagnosed as having an addiction to drugs or alcohol or who suffer from both addiction and mental disorders. Responsibilities of the Treatment Technician include communicating with patients to understand needs and assists with activities of daily living. Records patients date such as behavioral observations, vital signs, systems etc. and gathers information for patients’ admissions and inputs into the system.
