Treatment Scheduler
About The Position
The Treatment Scheduler is responsible for providing a variety of scheduling support services for the Montgomery Cancer Center, including chemotherapy regimens, outside diagnostic testing, consults to other physicians, and hospital admissions. The Scheduler role also serves as a trainer and mentor for new schedulers. This individual works with the MCC personnel to ensure all support functions are operating efficiently, effectively, and with the highest level of quality and concern for each patient. The Scheduler serves as a customer service representative of MCC by assisting patients and guests as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a healthcare setting.
- Clerical experience required.
- Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Must have the ability to successfully complete work within rigid time constraints.
- Must possess reasoning ability and good independent judgment.
Nice To Haves
- Formal healthcare education/training preferred.
