About The Position

Happy Sleep is a virtual sleep medicine practice dedicated to diagnosing and treating sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) and insomnia. We provide comprehensive, patient-centered care through innovative treatments and continuous support. We are looking for a driven, relationship-focused, and empathetic Treatment Sales Advisor / Treatment Enrollment Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in converting clinical consultations into life-changing treatment commitments. Role Overview As a Treatment Sales Advisor / Treatment Enrollment Specialist, you are the critical link between diagnosis and action. You will engage patients immediately following their tele-consultation with one of our sleep physicians via a virtual warm transfer — stepping in at the moment patients are most informed and most ready to make a decision. Your primary focus is to build genuine rapport, communicate the value of prescribed therapies, navigate financial conversations with confidence, and leverage proven relationship-based techniques to guide patients across the finish line and into active treatment.

Requirements

  • Must hold a college degree OR have significant experience in sales, business, or a human services related field.
  • Natural relationship-builder with exceptional communication skills and a high degree of empathy — you know how to make people feel heard and guide them toward confident decisions.
  • Comfortable leading financial discussions and asking for the commitment; you're motivated by outcomes and energized by helping people take meaningful action.
  • Able to quickly learn and apply structured communication frameworks, including Motivational Interviewing (MI) and values-based selling techniques.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing administrative workflows, documentation, and payment processing without losing the human connection.
  • Tech-savvy and confident working in a fully virtual environment, utilizing telehealth platforms and digital health records.

Responsibilities

  • Own Treatment Conversion: Serve as the primary closer for patients who have completed a clinical consultation, with clear responsibility for converting qualified patients into active treatment starts.
  • Warm Transfer Sales Engagement: Receive live patient handoffs from physicians and nurse practitioners via our virtual telehealth platform (Doxy), maintain momentum from the clinical visit, and quickly establish trust while guiding the patient into a treatment decision conversation.
  • Value-Based Treatment Sales: Present prescribed treatment options — including Positive Airway Pressure (PAP), Oral Appliance Therapy (OAT), and adjunctive therapies — in a clear, compelling, and patient-centered way. Help patients understand the value of moving forward now, not later, and position the Happy Ring sleep test as an important tool for care and treatment measurement.
  • Objection Handling & Decision Support: Use structured communication techniques, including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and the Value Living Questionnaire (VLQ), to uncover patient motivations, address hesitation, respond to objections, and increase patient confidence in starting treatment.
  • Close the Sale / Secure Commitment: Confidently ask for the patient’s commitment, confirm the treatment plan, and guide the patient through a simple next-step process that results in treatment initiation rather than passive interest.
  • Financial Conversion & Payment Collection: Lead payment conversations with confidence and clarity, present self-pay and third-party financing options, and successfully collect payment via Stripe as part of completing the treatment start process.
  • Performance Against Conversion Metrics: Operate with clear accountability to treatment initiation KPIs, including consult-to-start conversion, payment completion, and other sales performance indicators tied to treatment starts.
  • CRM / Documentation Discipline: Maintain accurate notes, document key sales and patient decision details, complete the After Visit Summary (AVS), and ensure clean handoff information for the Clinical Operations team.
