About The Position

Family Dental Group is looking for a Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator in Fishkill, New York to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. Position Overview:As a Treatment Plan Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in guiding patients through their treatment journey, educating them on their options, and ensuring a seamless scheduling and financial coordination process. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a dental office, preferably in treatment planning or patient coordination
  • Familiarity with dental procedures, terminology, and insurance verification
  • Proficient in dental practice management software (Denticon, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar)
  • Strong patient communication skills with the ability to clearly present treatment plans and financial options
  • Familiarity with third-party dental financing options (e.g., CareCredit, LendingClub, or similar)
  • Experience supporting case acceptance, recall systems, and appointment coordination
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional, empathetic, and patient-focused, maintaining confidentiality at all times
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • experience in multi-provider practices or DSOs and a track record of improving case acceptance
  • Experience working with various dental insurance plans, couples with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Educate, consult, and present patient treatment plans in clear and supportive manner
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Verify and process insurance for clinical appointments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and information using dental software
  • Collect and process payments for services rendered
  • Manage doctors and hygiene schedules as needed
  • Support marketing and promotional efforts to drive patient engagement and growth
