The Foster Care Recruiter/Trainer plays a crucial role within our Treatment Foster Care program, which offers specialized placement for children with significant behavioral, emotional, or medical needs that surpass those addressed by traditional foster care. In this role, you will guide potential foster parents through the licensing process and provide ongoing training using the Pressley Ridge model, often on weekends or evenings, within the Boise, Nampa, Caldwell, and Payette areas. Key responsibilities include assessing foster care needs, recruiting, screening, and training foster parents to ensure they can offer stable homes for children. You'll actively recruit and build relationships to attract potential foster parents through local community events, social media platforms, and networking with professional organizations. By staying informed about regulatory standards, you will ensure our compliance, and provide educational training to staff to maintain program quality. This position is pivotal in our mission to provide nurturing environments for children who require intensive interventions and supports. Your dedication and efforts directly contribute to the well-being and future of these children and families.
