About The Position

The Community Service Board of Middle Georgia’s Eastman Annex services both Child & Adolescents as well as Adults with Behavioral Health Diagnoses. The Treatment Engagement Specialist/Clerk will handle all administrative tasks as well as assist any mental health or medical staff as needed. CSBMG is seeking a professional individual who has strong communication skills and provides exceptional customer service. Overall, this is a fast-paced and high-volume position that heavily features the use of phone correspondence.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • Valid Georgia Driver’s License
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse communities
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Office Products
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines accordingly

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (psychology, social work, counseling, etc.)
  • Previous secretary or administrative experience
  • Previous case management experience

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external contacts and clients.
  • Communicate effectively with staff across various programs.
  • Answering telephones, screening calls, forwarding, and taking messages.
  • Scheduling clients for all staff.
  • Performing administrative tasks such as handling packages, mail, filing paperwork, faxing, and photocopying.
  • Providing general administrative support to program staff.
  • Assist with maintaining the building, including coordinating office services such as maintenance and cleaning.
  • Assisting clients with completing forms, gathering required documents, and navigating internal processes.
  • Conducting follow-up calls to check on client needs, appointment reminders, or service coordination.
  • Supporting staff in coordinating referrals or collecting information needed for services.
  • Entering client interactions, updates, and outcomes into electronic systems.
  • Maintaining organized records and ensuring documentation meets agency standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
