Our office, Oral Surgery of New Mexico - Las Cruces, is seeking a talented Treatment Coordinator to join our busy specialty practice. We are looking for a talented and skilled Treatment Coordinator to help us accomplish our mission to improve the lives of our patients by providing a world-class specialty experience for every patient. As a Dental Treatment Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient experience from the initial consultation to treatment completion. Your primary responsibilities will include effectively communicating treatment plans, coordinating appointments, assisting patients with financial arrangements, and ensuring a positive and stress-free experience for our valued patients.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients and the dental team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain complex treatment information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in dental software and basic computer skills.
  • Understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes.
  • Empathetic and patient-centered approach to customer service.
  • A high school diploma.
  • MON - FRI 8AM - 5PM

Responsibilities

  • Engage with patients to explain treatment options, answer questions, and address concerns in a clear and empathetic manner.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
  • Schedule appointments for treatments, consultations, and follow-up visits, taking into consideration the patient's availability and the clinic's schedule.
  • Assist patients in understanding and navigating insurance coverage and financial obligations, providing accurate cost estimates, and exploring payment options.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment plans, and correspondence to ensure efficient communication and coordination.
  • Work closely with the front desk and administrative staff to ensure a smooth patient flow and an organized office environment.
  • Continuously update your knowledge of dental treatments, procedures, and insurance policies to provide accurate information to patients.
  • Handle any patient concerns or issues that may arise during the treatment process, escalating them as necessary to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Ability to work fulltime, Monday - Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm
  • As one of the essential members of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.
