This position is primarily responsible for receiving, logging, and distributing Finance's mail on a daily basis, ensuring that all correspondence is handled efficiently. The Treasury Specialist will also be involved in researching and coding checks received by the cash management group, which is essential for maintaining accurate financial records. Additionally, the role includes preparing daily cash position reports and organizing cash flow support to provide insights into the company's financial status. On a weekly basis, the Treasury Specialist will prepare notes not sent to the bank report, which is vital for tracking outstanding transactions. The position also requires logging and coding checks received by the cash management group, conducting pairoff settlement confirmations with brokers, and submitting wire requests three times a month. Monthly responsibilities include performing low activity bank and liability reconciliations, as well as administering appraisal payment sites (speedpay). The Treasury Specialist may also be assigned other administrative duties as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance department. To succeed in this role, the Treasury Specialist must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as the work environment is fast-paced and deadline-driven.
