Treasury Middle Office - System and Technology Associate

Overview The position will assist in related risk management with respect to the businesses of Global markets and Treasury business, including supporting the management of related IT systems, ensuring proper data management and user access controls according to the Bank’s policy and procedures, head office regulations and other applicable rules and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required for this position
- A minimum of 1 year of financial market business related experience
- Knowledge of financial market products (Foreign exchange, money market, Fixed Income, Interest Rate Swap, Repo, etc…) is required and related risk management is required
- Familiarity in Bloomberg and other platforms required
Nice To Haves
- Experience related to SQL, VBA, Python is a plus
- Bilingual abilities in both English and Chinese are highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks in supporting the maintenance of related information and management systems
- Assist in maintaining proper user access controls of related systems according to the Bank’s policies and procedures
- Assist in ensuring the correctness and accuracy of business and risk data according to the Bank’s policies and procedures
- Data maintenance of risk control systems
- Assist in implementing new systems according to the Bank’s overall plan
- Assist with the new activity process with respect to I.T. issues
- Other tasks assigned
- Monitor and control related risks in the global markets and treasury business
- Investigate violations and irregularities and ensure any breach of the risk limits are properly addressed, reported and documented
- Prepare routine reports and support the production of ad hoc business and risk analysis reports to the management and Head Office
- Prepare risk warning reports
- Collect market information and report to the head of department when deemed necessary
- Prepare the research reports as assigned
