The Treasury Manager is responsible for managing the organization’s cash flow, liquidity, operating banking relationships, and financial treasury risk, while also administering and optimizing the accounting and financial systems for the treasury function. This role ensures effective treasury operations, strong financial controls, accurate financial data, and reliable system performance to support strategic and operational decision-making.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of cash management, financial controls, and accounting principles.
  • Experience working with banks, auditors, and external system vendors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage complex financial data.
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting and financial systems; with Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance, and risk management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in treasury, finance, or accounting roles.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional qualifications (e.g., CTP, CPA, ACCA, CIMA) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and report daily cash positioning and liquidity planning to ensure sufficient funds for operational and strategic needs. Will also be involved in cash forecasting for projects, and corporate entities.
  • Oversee treasury control management including positive pay decisioning and preventative payment controls.
  • Oversee operational banking relationships, including account management, mandates, fees, and service agreements.
  • Execute wires, ACH payments and monitor payment processes and notifications, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls.
  • Manage debt, investments, and working capital, including compliance with debt covenants and treasury policies.
  • Prepare treasury reports for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal treasury policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
  • Act as the primary administrator for the organization’s accounting and financial systems (e.g., ERP, accounting software, treasury management systems). will they really be the primary Infor admin?
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize system settings, user access, workflows, and security controls. for which systems?
  • Provide user support and documentation for finance and related departments.
  • Collaborate with IT, HR, Accounting and external providers to resolve system issues and implement improvements.
  • Oversight and administration of the company’s credit card programs and Concur expense management systems.
  • Preparation and maintenance of schedules related to funding capital draws.
  • Collaboration with FPA on potential merger and acquisition/ disposition transactions.
  • Collaboration with Shared Services on collection of accounts receivable
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as needed.
  • Management and administration of the Company’s incentive stock plan using Bank of America- Merril Lynch system.
  • Monitoring of debt and stock buy-back programs, including tracking against Board Approved limits.
  • Updating and reporting changes to equity holdings of the Founder and CEO.
  • Monitoring and reporting changes to the overall share and option count.
