About The Position

The Treasury Management Sales Officer is responsible for leading sales efforts to deliver best‑in‑class Treasury Management products and services to clients, generating revenue for b1BANK. This role focuses on expanding the commercial client base through consistent sales activity while building trust and rapport with prospects and clients. The Sales Officer will service new and existing accounts to ensure relationship growth. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong sales experience, the ability to travel as needed, and the capacity to work independently with effective time‑management and organizational skills. Extensive knowledge of the Bank’s Treasury Management product suite is required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Three to five years of sales experience is required; Treasury Management sales preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Ability to meet internal and external deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Generate core deposits and treasury revenue by obtaining new clients and expanding existing relationships through face to face, telephone, and email outreach.
  • Collaborate with and support Commercial Bankers on new opportunities; develop sales strategies to win new business.
  • Serve as a consultant to prospects and clients by presenting ideas and advice to help them manage banking needs in a more automated, timely, and cost-efficient manner.
  • Prepare and present proposals for new opportunities.
  • Communicate proactively with clients regarding banking changes that may impact them.
  • Partner with banking center teams as part of the deal team to establish new accounts for won business when applicable.
  • Gather discovery data to communicate to Sales Support for necessary agreements.
  • Train clients and install equipment for new sales when applicable.
  • Meet regularly with the Manager to review deals and progress.
  • Attend and participate in assigned sales, product, and general bank training.
  • Maintain a clean and accurate sales pipeline, calling activity report, and closed business report.
  • Provide backup support to Treasury Management Sales and Operations teammates when needed.
  • Review each market’s major clients’ Treasury Analysis Statements annually to ensure correct pricing and product placement.
