About The Position

As a Treasury Management Sales Officer, you'll be responsible at the divisional level for the development of new Treasury Management business, the expansion of existing business relationships, and the delivery of Treasury Management services to new and existing customers. You'll assist with the design of new Treasury Management services and the development of marketing programs. One of your key responsibilities is to build strong partnerships with appropriate sales partners and Relationship Managers to use consultative and strategic sales skills to turn prospects into clients and to expand business of existing. You will manage all elements of the Treasury Management sales cycle, including business development, prospect qualification, needs analysis, and close of sale. The role also involves retaining and growing customer portfolios through service reviews, regular calling, and industry training. You will develop independent channels to prospect for new Treasury Management clients and manage the process to maintain a pipeline of potential targets. This position requires completing calls independently or with appropriate partners on customers and prospects in the assigned territory, focusing on those with extensive, complex, and/or multi-national treasury management requirements. You are expected to maintain current and comprehensive knowledge of Treasury Management products, services, industry trends, competitive environment, and service issues to design customer-centric treasury management solutions and provide consultative expertise on the liquidity management cycle. Additionally, you will provide industry and product training to internal and external audiences, including customers, resource groups, and Relationship Managers, and represent the Bank in local and regional Treasury Management communities and industry groups.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience in Treasury Management Sales or similar field
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
  • Ability to cultivate COIs that refer business and cultivate long term client retention
  • Proven ability to cross sell and negotiate complex solutions consultative approach
  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills
  • Occasional travel required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in developing new business with a focus on companies with revenue of $50 million to Fortune 500 preferred
  • Certified Treasury Professional preferred
