About The Position

The Treasury Management Portfolio Manager at Busey Bank is responsible for providing cash management support across various lines of business. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with emphasis on Finance or Business or previous banking and sales experience.
• Knowledge of Treasury Management disciplines and related solution sets.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with electronic business banking platforms and other financial services.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently under time pressures.
• Results-oriented with excellent execution and closing capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Experience in cash management and/or payment technology sales.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Retail Associates and Commercial Business Banking Relationship Managers to provide cash management expertise.
• Service the existing Commercial deposit portfolio.
• Provide market intelligence to the Product Manager and Operations team regarding customer needs and competitive activities.
• Identify sales opportunities through implementation and participate in client Relationship Review meetings.
• Meet weekly with lines of business to discuss referral business opportunities and market trends.
• Manage internal communication regarding the status of Cash Management prospects and customers.
• Drive client communications including RFPs and pitch books in coordination with the Treasury Management Product Manager.
• Assist the Treasury Management Executive and Market President in negotiating contract terms with clients.
• Interface with product management on deal pricing and coordinate cross-product pricing as needed.
• Ensure efficient transition of deals to implementation resources after contract execution.
• Document reasons for lost deals and competitive offerings.
