About The Position

The Treasury Management Business Banking Sales Officer is responsible for selling Treasury solutions to small businesses, primarily via phone and email. This role involves the integrated delivery of products and services to a set of clients in the given market, with a strong emphasis on cross-selling. The officer will partner closely with branch associates and external sources to consult on sales opportunities, which is critical to the success of the team. Additional duties include performing other projects as assigned.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience within financial services and/or Treasury experience.
• 3-5 years of product knowledge, sales processes, and client interaction.
• Excellent sales skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate PC and Microsoft Office suite proficiency.
• Ability to analyze critical interdependencies among system elements impacting products and performance.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification.

Responsibilities

• Establishes market strategies and handles business development and pricing proposals for clients.
• Schedules and completes calling activities with prospective and existing clients to provide advisory services and product information.
• Collaborates with key stakeholders to set expectations on pricing, product implementation, and proposals.
• Maintains partnerships with product providers and negotiates key terms within contracts.
• Responds to proposals and transfers complex solutions to the RTSO.
• Identifies key revenue growth opportunities for current and potential clients.
• Aligns customer needs and satisfaction in business decisions and creates customized client solutions.
• Influences agreement with recommendations on Treasury products.
• Practices ethical sales behaviors in accordance with company values.
