The Treasury Deposit Account Coordinator performs a more complex range of client on-boarding/account opening and record keeping duties. Assigned tasks are more complex and diverse in nature requiring broader and comprehensive experience, skill, and knowledge of Bank's policies and procedures while meeting regulatory and legal requirements. Operates somewhat independently while in a team setting; performs considerable eye/hand coordination and follow-through; sets priorities for accomplishing work assignments adhering to the team's SLAs. Requirements

  • This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an Associate's Degree and 4-5 years experience in bank operations or customer service position or 8-10 years bank operations or customer service position. Experience and/or knowledge of banking is preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of banking operations
  • Excellent PC and software application skills; ability to operate a 10 key by touch
  • Excellent bank regulation knowledge (BSA/AML - Customer Due Diligence)
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a competent and professional manner
  • Excellent problem solving/research skills

Responsibilities

  • You will download and review required corporate documents and check for accuracy before opening a new account
  • You will prepare all required account opening documents
  • You will open accounts including demand deposit accounts and certificate of deposit accounts once all account documents
  • You will fix any errors that are sent back by our relationship management department
