About The Position
As a Treasury Consultant for FIS Quantum Treasury, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and relevant issues in financial services and technology. The position allows for remote work from anywhere in North America, providing flexibility while engaging in significant projects that impact the treasury and risk management solutions for banks. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing assigned projects across all functional areas of Treasury. You will work both individually and as part of a team on technology business consulting projects tailored to meet specific client requirements. Acting as a liaison between end-users and consultants, you will expertly research and document client needs, technology, or regulations related to system design, enhancement, and the acquisition of hardware or software that impacts multiple platforms and applications. Your responsibilities will include defining product scope, objectives, and requirements, as well as creating detailed specifications for program development and testing. You will analyze marketplace trends, industry standards, and best practices while assessing system impacts on other systems and procedures. Additionally, you will devise and modify processes to achieve greater efficiencies and solve complex technical problems related to computer equipment capacity and limitations. You will also be responsible for writing test plans and conducting various tests to ensure that enhancements meet client needs and maintain application integrity. As a team leader for the technical aspects of consulting projects, you may mentor less experienced analysts and consultants, and play a key role in training client and technical support personnel on new systems or procedures. This position may also involve pre-sales support when necessary, and other related duties as assigned.
