About The Position

About the role: The Treasury Compliance Analyst I will Support the Cash Management Compliance team in monitoring Cash Management processes and systems for compliance with GM Financial policies, controls and regulatory requirements. The Treasury Compliance Analyst I will support the creation and maintenance of suitable documentation for all relevant processes. In addition, the role will provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Desired knowledge of Audit/Compliance
• Preferred knowledge of Banking/Finance
• Robust analytical skills required
• Proven ability to operate in the finance/corporate environment through work experience
• Demonstrated skills in solving complex issues
• Ability to learn and obtain knowledge independently
• Advanced knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Experience: 2-3 years in Audit/Compliance role Pref
• 0-2 years in Finance/Banking Pref
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent work experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain Database of procedural documents and job responsibilities for department
• Review functional and design specifications to ensure KPIs are met
• Partner with internal teams to identify potential control gaps and work toward creating efficiencies within a robust governance framework
• Support internal and external Audit inquiries
• Maintain documentation of Controls monitoring
