Treasury Clerk In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for performing cashier, payment processing, and customer service duties while supporting Treasury operations. This position handles daily cash activities, payment reconciliation, bank statement digitization, and assists with weekly and month‑end accounting processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Daily activities of the Treasury & Cashier Accounting Clerk include, but are not limited to: 1. Customer Service & Cashier Duties Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers professionally and assisting with inquiries. Answer questions and guide customers through processes and procedures to ensure a smooth experience. 2. Order Pickup and Processing Assist customers with order pickups by verifying invoices, pickup numbers, or confirmations. Resolve discrepancies by coordinating with the appropriate departments. Ensure efficient order retrieval by collaborating with warehouse and fulfillment teams. Notify the Traffic Department to enter released orders into the system for accurate tracking. Communicate with the Warehouse team to prepare orders for pickup and ensure timely fulfillment. Issue invoices and required documentation to customers. Forward all completed order documents to the door team to finalize the hand‑off process. 3. Processing Financial Transactions Handle various payment methods, including cash, credit/debit cards, digital payments, and PayPal links. Issue receipts and invoices for all financial transactions. Review and post payments from banks and other payment platforms, ensuring accuracy with corresponding invoices and records. Prepare cash deposits to minimize risk and maintain secure cash-handling practices. Prepare and submit the IRS Cash Payment Report Over $10,000, ensuring accuracy of payer details and transaction information. ACCOUNTING CLERK DUTIES In addition to Cashier responsibilities: 1. Treasury Support: Daily Cash Reporting Digitize all bank statements daily, reviewing incoming payments, withdrawals, transfers, and fees. Collect and submit sales and credit records to the bank; update the Daily Cash Report. Analyze the company’s credit line activity and prepare reporting information. Assist with reconciling sales, payments, receivables, and available credit. 2. Assist Treasury with Weekly BBC Model Preparation Download relevant financial data, including bank statements, sales records, and aging reports. Compile and organize data in preparation for weekly reporting. 3. Assist with Monthly Accounting Close Digitize bank statements and accounting records to confirm accuracy of recorded transactions. Prepare the End‑of‑Month Reconciliation Report, documenting discrepancies, adjustments, and final account balances. Code Accounts Payable daily for automatic payments made throughout the period. 4. Prepare Internal Invoices Draft and submit company‑use invoices with proper supporting documentation for approval. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Basic understanding of accounting or financial processes (preferred). EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent (required). 1–3 years of experience in cashiering, treasury support, or accounting (preferred). Experience handling cash, processing payments, or working in a financial/office environment (preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
