About The Position

The Treasury Analyst position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day treasury operations of the Company and Treasury Department through daily, weekly, and monthly business reporting and analysis, assisting with the monthly, quarterly and annual planning and budgeting process, and utilizing financial and operational modeling to analyze cash and liquidity business trends. This position works closely with the Corporate Treasurer, providing analytical support for strategic business decisions. This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position.

Requirements

• College degree required, preferably with concentration in Finance or Accounting
• 1-3 years in financial field or treasury function; retail experience preferred
• Strong understanding of corporate treasury activities
• Solid understanding of accounting
• Ability to visually display data in organized and effective manner
• Strong communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills including vlookup/index match, pivot tables, and ability to write macros as well as a desire to become an expert modeler
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills, must be able to interpret complex concepts and translate them into easy-to-understand graphs, charts, and visual graphics
• Experience with MicroStrategy, Data Warehousing or Business Intelligence tool, Adaptive Planning, Multiview, and MS Access a plus
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
• Is committed to working scheduled hours and has the flexibility to work additional hours based on changing business needs
• Knowledge of industry business and passion for following trends in the industry
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional manner, both orally and in writing, at all levels within and outside the organization

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring and maintenance of Company cash and liquidity, including preparing borrowing and repayment notices as needed
• Forecasts future cash flow and liquidity to inform of future Company liquidity
• Prepares quarterly and annual compliance certificates for the Company term loan and asset-based lending agreements
• Compiles the monthly borrowing base certificate for our asset-based lending agreement
• Supports all other credit agreement compliance
• Participates in periodic credit agreement refinancing, including creating lender and credit rating agency presentations
• Develops monthly, quarterly and annual balance sheet and cash flow forecast
• Supports, reports on, and analyzes the Company’s private label credit card program
• Monitors applicable foreign exchange and interest rates and recommends appropriate strategies
• Maintains positive and constructive relationships with Company’s banking partners
• Responsible for maintaining discretion related to all confidential/sensitive Company and customer information
• Consistently arrives promptly to work the assigned schedule
• Performs other requested tasks and duties
