Treasury Analyst
About The Position
The Office of Financial Services seeks a full-time Treasury Analyst to support the enterprise’s Treasury Operations. The Analyst will work closely with a small and collaborative team within the university's Treasurer's Office focused on deposit management, banking and treasury services administration, customer service and day-to-day treasury operations. The position is primarily focused on treasury operations but will offer unique opportunities to gain insight into other areas including investments, cash management, merchant services and bank reconciliation. The Analyst will provide critical operational support while doing so in a rewarding environment that helps further the mission of The Ohio State University. This is an in-person role based at the Ohio State University’s main campus in Columbus, Ohio. The team operates in office Monday – Thursday and there is currently flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two (2) years of relevant experience in banking operations, treasury operations or financial management
- Experience using Excel
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with prudence and discretion
Nice To Haves
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
- Banking operations experience
- Expertise with Workday and/or commercial banking portals
