SUPERVISORY DUTIES: None SUMMARY: This is a professional level staff position accountable for reviewing financial and business data. The analyst will use professional judgment to run analyses and create reports that will be presented to executive and/or department manager level personnel and used to influence the bank’s strategic decision-making process.

Requirements

Excellent writing and oral communication skills, with specific expertise in management reporting and executive writing skills.
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple and complex projects with limited oversight.
Ability to develop strong, positive relationships with key business stakeholders.
Advanced experience with MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Experience with common Excel add-ins and formulas.
Limited travel may be required.
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
0 – 2 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry required.

Responsibilities

Assist with operational tasks of the team, as well as reporting for senior leaders of the bank.
Assist with the development and maintenance of the bank’s Asset / Liability Management model as it pertains to both pricing and risk management.
Assist with the pre- and post-purchase review of securities and derivatives.
Provide research to support the long-term strategic planning process of the bank.
Prepare and deliver timely, accurate, and relevant management information and analysis supporting the financial results and critical business initiatives of the bank.
Research industry and bank trends to help ascertain if current strategies are effective.
Quickly reply to fire-drills and other ad-hoc examinations requested by management.
Assumes additional duties as required.
