SUPERVISORY DUTIES: None SUMMARY: This is a professional level staff position accountable for reviewing financial and business data. The analyst will use professional judgment to run analyses and create reports that will be presented to executive and/or department manager level personnel and used to influence the bank’s strategic decision-making process.

Requirements

  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills, with specific expertise in management reporting and executive writing skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple and complex projects with limited oversight.
  • Ability to develop strong, positive relationships with key business stakeholders.
  • Advanced experience with MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Experience with common Excel add-ins and formulas.
  • Limited travel may be required.
  • BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • 0 – 2 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with operational tasks of the team, as well as reporting for senior leaders of the bank.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of the bank’s Asset / Liability Management model as it pertains to both pricing and risk management.
  • Assist with the pre- and post-purchase review of securities and derivatives.
  • Provide research to support the long-term strategic planning process of the bank.
  • Prepare and deliver timely, accurate, and relevant management information and analysis supporting the financial results and critical business initiatives of the bank.
  • Research industry and bank trends to help ascertain if current strategies are effective.
  • Quickly reply to fire-drills and other ad-hoc examinations requested by management.
  • Assumes additional duties as required.
