About The Position

This role supports key treasury and cash management functions by helping improve efficiency, protect assets, and reduce costs. Responsibilities include daily cash monitoring, weekly and monthly cash forecasting, and reviewing banking activity to identify savings and profit opportunities. The position also manages the Master Debt Schedule, assists with debt administration, prepares required covenant calculations, and completes related journal entries and reconciliations. Additional duties include maintaining debt-related accounts, overseeing standby letters of credit, and supporting treasury operations as needed.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years' experience in accounting, finance or treasury
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting
  • MS Word and Excel Proficient
  • Experience with ERP and Financial Reporting Systems

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Knowledge of banking, cash forecasting, cash and liquidity management
  • Written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

  • Supports treasury and cash management operations, helping develop strategies to maximize efficiencies, safeguard assets and minimize cost
  • Support Cash Forecasting and Analysis
  • Maintain ownership of the Master Debt Schedule and support the treasury manager in administration of debt agreements
  • Complete monthly Journal Entries and Account Reconciliations
  • Periodic Review and filing of Standby Letters of Credit
  • Daily monitoring and review of the Cash Investment Sweet (CIS) Returns and market rates.
  • Weekly Update and distribution of Cash Position File and Cash Forecast
  • Monthly update of the Cash Forecast
  • Monthly review of interest and bank and merchant fees for cost-saving and profit maximizing opportunities
  • Monthly Review of all bank reconciliations
  • Monthly forecast of Interest Rate contracts
  • Monthly Borrowing Base Calculations
  • Monthly update of Debt Rollforward for External Reporting to the Board
  • Quarterly compliance with debt agreements including all covenant calculations including: Net leverage Ratio and Fixed Charge Coverage Ratio
  • Other duties as needed
