About The Position

The Treasury Analyst is an integral part of the Treasury team reporting to the Treasurer. This position plays a key role in analyzing and producing value add reporting to management related to the Bank's capital, liquidity, and interest rate risk positioning.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of financial services, financial statement analysis, and/or banking industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office with advanced excel skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills
  • Motivated self-starter and multitasker
  • Ability to work with team members in different locations
  • Adaptable to changing environment and time pressures
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree or designation (such as CFA or CTP) or progress towards preferred
  • S&P Global Market Intelligence and Bloomberg Terminal experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide analysis and regular reporting to internal stakeholders related to investment portfolio, loans, deposits, funding structure, derivatives positions, and bank profitability and risk metrics
  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize securities pledging to meet collateralization and liquidity needs
  • Collaborate with external consultants in the completion of interest rate risk analysis
  • Support liquidity monitoring, forecasting, and stress testing
  • Support Treasury-led committee functions including materials preparation and minutes creation
  • Maintain documentation of internal controls
  • Provide support for mortgage secondary markets lock desk
  • Ad hoc analysis
