Summary of Position: The Treasury Analyst oversees the bank's cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk by managing daily cash, investments, and debt, while also building and maintaining relationships with financial institutions, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities include cash flow forecasting and management, capital planning, investment portfolio management, risk mitigation, and strategic financial advice to senior management.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in treasury, analysis, or corporate finance; banking or financial services experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial software.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (modeling, forecasting, and more complex logical formulas).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for cash flow forecasting and funding strategies.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing transactions and reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, senior management, and external partners, demonstrating strong collaboration, communication, and professionalism across all levels and functions.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated accountability and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
  • Leverages technology and automation to reduce manual tasks and improve accuracy in financial operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage daily cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations and making timely payments.
  • Develop cash flow forecasts to anticipate future financial needs and support strategic financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and bank policies as it pertains to liquidity and ALM.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate and liquidity risks, to protect the bank's financial stability.
  • Maintain and develop strong professional relationships with partner financial institutions.
  • Execute funding transactions, including Brokered Deposits and lines of credit.
  • Assist in financial reporting, including regulatory reporting (FFIEC reports, FR Y-9C, Call Reports).
  • Support the finance department in financial strategy.
  • Prepare reports and metrics for ALCO, senior leadership, and the Board of Directors.
  • Reconcile bank statements with internal records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Any ad-hoc projects or tasks assigned by management.
