About The Position

The Treasury Analyst will join Amazon's Treasury Control Team, focusing primarily on compliance within treasury activities. This role involves developing and maintaining Treasury's control framework, managing user access to banking systems, and ensuring adherence to company policies. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments to enhance operational efficiency and compliance in treasury functions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role experience (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance)

Nice To Haves

• MBA or CPA
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
• 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
• Experience designing and implementing controls or performing audits over financial reporting environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to maintain understanding and optimal usage of new process improvements for system access requests.
• Maintain documentation for the development of the new controllership tool related to bank portal and workstation entitlement processing.
• Drive adoption of Amazon's Treasury workstation for non-Treasury administrative functions.
• Manage operational flow of the new design of the 24x5 support for banking access issue management in collaboration with the Treasury India Compliance team.
• Ensure compliance with Treasury guidelines and policies including Banking Authority, Investments, and Foreign Exchange.
