About The Position

The PGIM Private Capital Fund Operations team is seeking a Treasury Analyst specific to the Direct Lending product. The Direct Lending strategy within PGIM Private Capital is responsible for originating, underwriting, and managing a portfolio of privately placed leveraged loans for middle market issuers ($10–100 million of EBITDA). The strategy spans multiple fund structures—including limited partnerships, parallel funds, separately managed accounts, and structured vehicles such as CLOs—and continues to evolve in response to growing transaction flow and investor demand. The Treasury Analyst will play a high-impact role in supporting the execution and oversight of these fund structures. This includes managing liquidity across entities, coordinating leverage facility activity, and contributing to the operational readiness of new investment vehicles. The role offers exposure to a broad range of treasury and fund operations functions, with opportunities to collaborate across investment, legal, compliance, and finance teams in Chicago, Newark, and Ireland.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of accounting, audit, fund administration or operations experience in financial services
  • Experience in a Treasury role (private credit firm preferred), custodian bank, administrative agent, cash and/or debt facility management or within underwriting fund debt facilities at a bank is a plus
  • Strong Excel modeling & analysis skills, Wall Street Office, Sentry, Allvue (fka Black Mountain), and Kyriba systems a plus
  • Ability to convey sense of urgency and to work productively with both internal and external business partners (Prudential Enterprise, investment professionals, banking partners, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and adjust priorities as needed
  • Superior analytical skills, accuracy and careful attention to detail are essential
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving experience required

Responsibilities

  • Provide cash management support through cash analyses for deal fundings, subscription and leverage line borrowings/repayments, and capital call needs across various fund entities
  • Execute cash settlements for expense invoices, forward contract settlements, and transfers between entities to position cash for deal fundings
  • Support the management of multiple middle market direct lending debt facilities (subscription line, asset-backed / leverage lines, corporate revolvers, and CLOs) with thorough understanding of the related documentation and deliverables
  • Prepare, maintain, and submit all schedules / reports required under credit agreements
  • Monitor compliance to debt covenants / restrictions / thresholds for multiple debt facilities
  • Contribute to monitoring deal pipeline activity, deal funding / liquidity forecasts, and allocations
  • Coordinate foreign currency hedging transactions, reconcile transactions and outstanding forward contracts with hedge counterparties
  • Support the loan rating process with various rating agencies and maintain database
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide support to the Fund Operations team in periods of peak demand and ad hoc projects
  • Join a global operations team by working with staff located in Chicago, Newark, and Ireland
