About The Position
The Treasury ALM Manager is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and developing reporting, analysis, and processes related to balance sheet asset and liability management. This includes balance sheet and net interest income forecasting, interest rate risk measurement, funds transfer pricing, and reporting & technical analytics. The role is pivotal in contributing to the continuous improvement of all processes and procedures while providing analytical support to senior leadership regarding ongoing projects. As a senior member of the team, the Treasury ALM Manager will lead and support the work of junior team members, offering guidance and advice to ensure effective execution of strategies. This highly seasoned professional role requires substantial knowledge and expertise in Asset and Liability Management (ALM) and an understanding of broader related areas. The Treasury ALM Manager will integrate knowledge of the enterprise sub-function's or business line's overarching strategy to develop solutions across multiple functions or operations. The position involves interpreting internal and external business challenges and the industry environment, recommending best practices to improve products, processes, or services. The manager will act as a technical expert, managing teams of related specialists and independently overseeing end-to-end functional programs. The role also involves solving complex problems, leading efforts to develop new solutions, and using sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify solutions. The Treasury ALM Manager will communicate difficult concepts, converting information into compelling business context and advice, influencing and gaining alignment across increasingly senior stakeholders. The position requires autonomy in guiding others within the area of expertise, ensuring that business operations comply with applicable internal and external requirements, and maintaining a culture of risk management and control.
