About The Position
The Aurora City School Board of Education is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Treasurer. The Board seeks an outstanding administrator who will continue the focus on excellence, communications, trust, and transparency. The Aurora School District is in Portage County with 2997 students in grades pre-K through 12. The district serves students through a preschool program, three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. Aurora is a top 10 academically performing district with high expectations and outstanding community support. Strategic Vision: Today's schools must not only build a solid foundation of academic knowledge, but also nurture a deep sense of purpose and self in young people. These young people are not merely students, but LEARNERS with a skill set that prepares them to be successful in an ever-changing world.
