About The Position

Join our team as a Tray Pack Line Lead! We're looking for a dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. As a Tray Pack Line you'll lead and supervise a team of packers, sizers, and graders at the line, assigning tasks and managing employee rotations to maintain efficiency and ergonomic standards.

Requirements

• Six months of steady work history is preferred

Nice To Haves

• Experience in protein processing/manufacturing preferred

Responsibilities

• Train all packing personnel on specific cutting, sizing, and packing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) unique to the trap pack line
• Adheres to all safety requirements including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management related matters
• Ensure the product presentation within the packaging is aesthetically correct (e.g., meat fibers facing up, no excessive trimming/fat, proper arrangement in the tray)
• Familiarity with operating and calibrating quality assurance equipment, particularlymetal detectors and/or X-ray machines used in poultry processing
• Oversee the handling, sorting, and proper disposition of any product flagged for rework or rejection
