About The Position

We are seeking a traveling millwork installer that will travel to job sites installing fixtures throughout the USA. As a field installer, you will travel to job sites, assign work to helpers, receive and unload shipments with a forklift and install and trouble shoot issues onsite with the millwork. Travel is typically steady and there will be long stretches away from home.

Requirements

5 to 10 years wood working experience
3 to 5 years supervisory experience preferred
Ability to work on short-term assignments with tight deadlines while managing multiple tasks, projects, and changing demands.
You are in good physical condition and have the strength and endurance to complete the installs efficiently in 10-hour shifts and the ability to lift 50 - 75lbs.
Posses a valid drivers’ license.
Must have reliable transportation and all tooling required for installations

Responsibilities

Working with and maintaining hand and power tools and other carpentry trade equipment while in the field
Measure, cut, prepare, and arrange materials for installation
Install cabinetry, trim, fixtures, and related hardware and parts
Mechanical and carpentry aptitude and a strong detail orientation: Able to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings and project specifications
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems
Solid surface / Corian countertops
Lamination
Manage on-site helpers
Communicate thoroughly with Project Manager(s) to ensure all materials are on site to complete the job and that any issues are brought to their attention as soon as possible.
