About The Position

At Precision Plumbing, we combine craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology to deliver top-tier plumbing solutions across the Carolinas. We’re looking for a motivated Trimble Operator to join our growing team and help us bring precision and efficiency to every jobsite.

As a Trimble Operator, you’ll be responsible for using Trimble Total Station robotics to accurately lay out plumbing systems—from underground work to multi-level structures. You’ll collaborate closely with BIM Coordinators, Foremen, and General Contractors to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems with the building structure.

This role requires regular travel to jobsites across North and South Carolina.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License and dependable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout NC and SC

Nice To Haves

• 6+ months experience in plumbing or general construction
• Basic plumbing knowledge

Responsibilities

• Operate Trimble Total Station robotics for plumbing layout.
• Clearly mark and label layout points for installation crews.
• Maintain, transport, and protect all Trimble equipment.
• Collaborate with BIM Coordinators and site Foremen.
• Oversee and assist with installation of sleeves, embeds, and piping.
• Ensure layout accuracy and alignment with building structure.
• Troubleshoot layout or equipment issues as they arise.
• Support general plumbing installation tasks when needed.
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness and follow all safety standards.
• Assist with documentation and proper care of company property.
