About The Position
The Traveling Superintendent position at Talent Foundry International involves overseeing ground-up commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 3-10 years of experience in commercial construction, particularly in managing projects that involve new builds. The Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, architects, and subcontractors, to ensure that all project specifications are met and that the work adheres to industry standards and safety regulations. In this role, the Superintendent will develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses meticulously and making necessary adjustments to stay within financial constraints. Quality control is a critical aspect of the job, as the Superintendent will conduct inspections to ensure that all work meets the required standards. Additionally, the Superintendent will manage construction schedules, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The position also requires a strong understanding of blueprints and schematics, as the Superintendent will need to review and interpret these documents regularly. Compliance with building codes and OSHA regulations is paramount, and the Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols are followed on-site. Effective communication is essential, as the Superintendent will provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders regarding project progress and any issues that may arise. Accurate documentation is also a key responsibility, including maintaining contracts, change orders, and permits throughout the project lifecycle.
