About The Position

Aurum Construction is expanding our self-perform concrete presence across Texas and New Mexico, and we’re looking for a highly skilled Traveling Concrete Superintendent to lead field operations on structural concrete projects throughout the region. If you’re an expert in forming systems, rebar coordination, concrete placement, and leading crews on commercial structural work — and you enjoy traveling to new project sites — this is an opportunity to play a major role with a fast-growing concrete subcontractor. Aurum Construction, part of Goldenrod Companies, is a commercial concrete subcontractor specializing in structural concrete, foundations, tilt-wall, and high-performance commercial projects. As a Traveling Concrete Superintendent, you’ll be the on-site leader driving safety, productivity, and quality across multiple projects throughout Texas and New Mexico.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a concrete subcontractor
  • Deep expertise in structural concrete: formwork systems, layout, rebar, vertical/horizontal pours
  • Strong ability to manage multiple crews and high-production structural operations
  • Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and engineered lift plans
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Texas and New Mexico

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with tilt-wall is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead field operations for structural concrete scopes on commercial and industrial projects
  • Travel to project sites throughout Texas and New Mexico
  • Direct concrete crews in forming, rebar installation, placement, finishing, and curing
  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and daily workflow to meet production goals
  • Work closely with GCs, engineers, inspectors, and internal teams to ensure compliance
  • Review structural drawings, rebar plans, and formwork details with precision
  • Build and manage project schedules, sequencing work to prevent downtime
  • Enforce strict safety standards and lead daily/weekly toolbox meetings
  • Monitor quality control, oversee inspections, and ensure all work meets engineered specs
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and high performance on every jobsite
