As a Traveling Specialty Dental Assistant at Watts Dental, you will: Work closely with our Periodontists and other specialists to provide exceptional patient care, traveling to all locations with specialist required. Assist during procedures to ensure every patient receives high-quality, comfortable treatment. Organized and detailed packing of instruments and materials needed for procedures in different locations. Help patients feel informed, supported, and comfortable throughout their visit. Requirements

  • Has 1+ years of dental assisting experience with an orthodontist, oral surgeon, periodontist, or other dentistry specialist.
  • Holds current Dental Assistant (DA) certification.
  • Holds a valid X-ray certification.
  • Has experience with IV sedation and drawing blood.
  • Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and patient-focused environment.
  • Communicates proactively and professionally with patients and teammates.

Nice To Haves

  • Has periodontal experience - highly valuable and preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our Periodontists and other specialists to provide exceptional patient care, traveling to all locations with specialist required.
  • Assist during procedures to ensure every patient receives high-quality, comfortable treatment.
  • Organized and detailed packing of instruments and materials needed for procedures in different locations.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, manage instruments, and maintain strict infection control standards.
  • Support advanced specialty cases such as periodontal surgeries, implants, and regenerative procedures.
  • Help patients feel informed, supported, and comfortable throughout their visit.
  • Grow personally and professionally while helping others do the same.
