We are seeking a Full-time Traveling Specialty Assistant who will work across various specialties, including Oral Surgery (OS), Endodontics (ENDO), and Periodontics (PERIO). This role is ideal for a dynamic professional who exudes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Traveling Specialty Assistant will be responsible for welcoming patients to our dental office, ensuring their comfort, and preparing them for treatments or checkups. This position requires a commitment to adhering to strict instrument sterilization protocols and assisting dentists through 4-handed dentistry. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Traveling Specialty Assistant will perform lab tasks as instructed, offer post-operative care instructions, and maintain a clean and well-stocked dental room. Scheduling patient appointments and keeping precise patient records are also essential functions of this role. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency with dental instruments and sterilization techniques, in-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. A high school diploma is required, and graduation from a dental assistant school is preferred. Additional certifications or training, such as OSMA/OA, are considered assets.
