About The Position

ASST, a leading solid surface fabricator and full package millwork contractor, is seeking a Site Superintendent. This individual will play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of millwork projects across various locations. Position Overview: As a Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing millwork projects at different job sites throughout the country. You will collaborate closely with project managers, production planners, subcontractors, and installers to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects. This role requires extensive travel, flexibility, and a strong ability to adapt to various work environments.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in millwork installation and supervision preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of millwork construction techniques, materials, and industry standards.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading millwork installation teams.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and shop drawings.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices within the construction industry.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work on different job sites as required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site supervision and leadership for millwork projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, production planners, subcontractors, and installers to ensure timely delivery and installation of millwork components.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and field measurements to identify and address any issues or potential challenges.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report updates to the project management team.
  • Manage and supervise a team of millwork installers, ensuring proper training, performance evaluation, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers to resolve any design or installation-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily progress reports, change orders, and as-built drawings.
  • Conduct regular meetings and communicate effectively with project management to provide updates on project status, schedule changes, and any potential risks.
