Requirements

• Experience as a Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) on federal projects.
• Experience on vertical construction and ground-up projects.
• Ability to travel and work in Laredo, TX.
• Bachelor's degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical and regulatory expertise to guarantee compliance and safe workplaces.
• Work with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure compliance with company safety policies.
• Perform daily safety audits.
• Assist in the development of Safety plans during the pre-construction phase and throughout the construction process.
• Identify, develop, and implement training programs for supervisors and employees on safety practices.
• Ensure contractor activities are pre-planned for safety through scope review and pre-construction meetings.
