About The Position

Traveling Service Technician Full-Time Location: Major city with 45 minutes of a large airport (Delta Hub). Join an Industry-Leading Team and Travel the US and Canada! Are you a skilled and motivated technician who loves to travel and work hands-on with cutting-edge machinery? Were seeking Traveling Service Technicians for an exciting opportunity. In this role, youll be providing on-site installation, maintenance, and repair services for equipment at client locations. Youll be the face of the team, ensuring customers receive exceptional technical support and service. What Youll Do: Installation & Maintenance: Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair machinery at customer locations, following industry standards and manufacturer guidelines. Troubleshooting: Solve on-the-spot technical issues using diagnostic tools and manuals to ensure smooth operations for our clients. Customer Support: Youll deliver professional service and clearly communicate with customers about the status of repairs and maintenance. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of your service activities, from time spent to parts used, ensuring accurate and timely documentation. Training & Education: Train clients on the operation and maintenance of their equipment, providing valuable insights and recommendations. Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, use PPE, and ensure compliance with company policies. Travel: Be ready to travel extensively across the US and Canada, often on short notice. Overnight stays will be a regular part of the job.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications are a plus.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a field service technician role. Experience with the installation, maintenance, or repair of machinery is highly desirable.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic skills, with proficiency in diagnostic tools, schematics, and repair techniques.
  • You excel at diagnosing and resolving technical issues quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical individuals.
  • You can lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and work in confined spaces.
  • A valid drivers license and a clean driving record are required.
  • This role requires 90%-100% travel, often on short notice, and overnight stays.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a customer-facing role where satisfaction is key.
  • Certifications in HVAC, Electrical, Electronics, or other relevant technical fields.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific equipment such as medical devices, industrial machinery, or IT hardware.
