Requirements

• cpr or bls
• registered dental assistant license
• must have ortho experience
• willing to travel with pay
• we can offer full time if you know general or oral surgery

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned office locations to provide orthodontic assisting support.
• Prepare patients for orthodontic treatment, including reviewing medical history, seating patients, and explaining procedures.
• Assist orthodontist with procedures such as bonding, banding, adjustments, impressions, and removal of appliances.
• Take and process digital radiographs, intraoral scans, impressions, and photographs.
• Sterilize, disinfect, and prepare instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, appliance care, and post-treatment instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting as directed by the orthodontist.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and OSHA standards.
• Support team members and assist with scheduling, patient flow, and office operations as needed.
