PDS Optical is a SDVOSB Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that manufactures a very large number of eyeglasses each day. We have Optical Laboratories in Louisville, KY and Fort Lauderdale, FL and manage many optical stores across the US and Puerto Rico. Washington, DC| VA Medical Center Serve Those Who Served At PDS Optical, we don't just provide eyewear - we provide care, respect, and service to our Veterans. We're looking for a Travel Optician! In this role, you will be based out of the Washington, DC VA. Travel would be anywhere in the United States and US Territories. Anticipated travel time would be 80%+
Requirements
- ABO Preferred or must be attained within two years of hire
- Self-motivated
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience with lensometers, pupilometers, and optical software
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and service-driven

- Fit, adjust, repair, and dispense eyewear with precision
