This is your opportunity to lead and influence student outcomes as a dedicated Traveling Occupational Therapist , supporting high school students throughout various sites in Phoenix, AZ during the '25-'26 school year. Position Overview: Conduct comprehensive multi-site evaluations for high school students across the district, specifically assessing functional skills related to daily living, academics, and vocational participation. Partner with the Individual Education Program (IEP) team to develop and implement annual IEPs and complete required student evaluations. Develop and manage the full occupational therapy services schedule, providing direct treatment, consultation, and effective supervision of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs). Provide environmental and technological accommodations, including the adaptation of materials/equipment and training parents and school staff for consistent support.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid Arizona Occupational Therapy License
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • First Aid/CPR Certification (Preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Working knowledge of IEP development and implementation processes; prior OT experience within a school or pediatric setting
