Requirements

• Valid state licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Examine each patient and take a detailed medical history.
• Chart all medically important information in patient records.
• Read test results and interpret data appropriately.
• Make diagnostic suggestions based on test results.
• Explain test results and expected health outcomes to patients.
• Prescribe medication or therapy with physician oversight.
• Work closely with nurses, other Physician Assistants, and Physicians to formulate comprehensive treatment plans.
