About The Position

Responsible for performing a wide variety of member services such as opening and closing consumer and business accounts, renewing term share accounts and assisting members with bookkeeping and checking account issues. Responsible for maintaining and organizing various files, forms and records. Answers member questions regarding Credit Union services provided and performs a variety of account maintenance. Cross-sells services and performs related clerical duties as required. Assists or refers members with any and all questions or problems that arise. Performs all teller functions as needed. This position will travel as an MSR/Teller to any FivePoint North Houston Branch.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the fundamentals of quality customer service.
• Currency and check handling knowledge.
• Six months customer service experience.
• Excellent communication and public relations skills.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Ability to operate related computer applications and other business equipment including 10-key and telephone.
• Solid math and bookkeeping abilities.

Nice To Haves

• Good understanding of consumer and business services and products provided.
• Understanding of member bookkeeping procedures
• Basic understanding of financial operations is strongly preferred.
• Minimum two years customer service experience.
• Minimum six months new accounts experience.
• Strong experience handling currency and checks.
• Related office experience and previous customer service contact is preferred.

• Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
