Nationally Travelling Apartment Maintenance
About The Position
Monarch Investment & Management Group is hiring a Traveling Maintenance Technician to join our National Traveling Crew. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and traveling across the country . You’ll support apartment communities that need extra help—working with a skilled team to complete repairs, unit turns, and property improvements. Requirements
- 1+ year of maintenance experience (apartment or related field preferred)
- Experience with drywall repair, painting, and carpentry
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Commitment to quality service
- Ability to travel for extended periods ( 3 weeks at a time )
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Some experience with HVAC and water heaters preferred
- Candidates may be asked to demonstrate basic maintenance skills during the interview.
Responsibilities
- Complete maintenance work orders based on priority
- Perform unit turns / make-ready preparation
- Interior & exterior painting and staining
- General maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall)
- Assist with renovations, capital projects, and major repairs
- Support on-site maintenance teams
- Complete special projects as needed
