About The Position

Come join an amazing team of close to 900 employees dedicated to providing Excellence on Every Level! An experienced Laborer is needed in our office in Medford, NJ. The role entails being able to perform and support ground activities at construction sites varying from general to technical level activities. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated/ customer focused and work well in a team environment. Candidates must also have the ability to manage heavy workloads, travel, have reliable transportation, and be available as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Basic skills should include knowledge of construction activities and methods, mechanical aptitude with how things work, how engines and machinery operate, and how to fix, install, mend, fabricate or conceptualize tasks to be completed Advanced skills are performance necessary in carpentry, concrete, welding/metal fabrication, trailer rigging, tie down equipment, torch cutting, and basic electrical and plumbing Operation of power tools on-site Perform groundwater-sampling duties at various project locations; utilization of water treatment systems and applications Work in and around trenches or excavations with or without shielding, sloping or other methods of below grade work Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical systems associated with site remediation Cascade Environmental, LLC, and our subsidiaries is an Equal Opportunity employer. Requirements

  • High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred
  • hands-on experience operating small to heavy equipment
  • Solid mechanical aptitude
  • Clean driving record
  • Valid OSHA-40 / HAZWOPER training strongly preferred
  • Keen attention to detail and situational awareness
  • Strong work ethic and the physical ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • This position requires 80% travel
  • Candidates must also have the ability to manage heavy workloads, travel, have reliable transportation, and be available as needed

Nice To Haves

  • CDL license optional
